Meet the artist. Julia Weiss was born in Omaha, Nebraska in 1919 and has lived in Los Angeles for more than twenty years. A lifelong painter, Julia believes the Arts & Crafts program at the Jewish Home has helped improve her skills. Beautiful flowers are Julia's favorite subject. In addition to painting, she keeps her hands busy with knitting, crocheting, and creating collages. A resident since 2009, Julia is appreciative of the many activities and quality of care provided by the Home.
