The success of The Executives in carrying out its mission hinges upon a vast network of volunteers and lay leadership. There are numerous ways to get involved in The Executives, including joining one or more of the organization's committees, outlined below:
Development Committee
Responsibilities include participating in raising money for the Home’s Annual Campaign, assisting the Membership Committee in securing corporate sponsorships, developing new methods of fundraising for the Home and holding membership accountable for their financial commitments. Also oversee the major fund-raising events.
Membership Committee
Responsibilities include ongoing recruitment and engagement of new members to The Executives, participating in the Home’s Annual Campaign, retaining past members and securing their membership renewals, developing creative ways to increase membership, identifying corporate members and developing strategies to engage them, and producing the Membership Directory which includes selling ad space in the Directory.
Program Committee
Responsibilities include identifying and inviting speakers for The Executives Monthly Breakfasts, soliciting individuals and/or companies to sponsor each breakfast, attending the breakfasts, and developing additional programs of interest throughout the year that would engage membership.
Special Events Committee
Responsibilities include planning and coordinating The Executives Annual Awards Brunch, participating in the Circle of Life Dinner committee, and developing additional events of interest throughout the year that will engage membership and generate additional revenue for the Home.
Communications Committee
Responsibilities include preparing Visions, The Executives printed and electronic newsletters, following up with all members who have committed to writing an article for Visions, participating in editing received articles, and assisting in formatting the newsletter.
Young Executives Board
The Young Executives Board is responsible for recruiting more young members, planning events geared toward those in their 20s and 30s while gaining valuable experience in order to better serve as future leaders of The Executives.
Bingo
Responsibilities include attending The Executives monthly Bingo night for the residents, purchasing and/or securing items as prizes for the residents, encouraging others to attend the monthly event.
