Classes meet Monday through Friday in a 12-month, full-time program consisting of 1041 hours of clinical instruction and 639 hours of theory (1680 hours total).
The Annenberg School of Nursing's program is divided into four terms of approximately twelve weeks each. Each term is comprised of prescribed subjects that build upon the previous term's learning.
Classes are taught in an interactive format, combining classroom instruction with hands-on practice.
Upon graduation, all students are thoroughly prepared to take the NCLEX-PN exam, qualifying for entry-level employment as licensed vocational nurses. Completion of the program is acknowledged by the awarding of a diploma.
Vocational nursing salaries range from approximately $18 to $22 per hour depending on place of employment, and whether positions are 'benefitted' or 'non-benefitted.'
